This closed off kitchen took on a major facelift. We knocked down the wall dividing it from the living room and then extended the kitchen space with a grand island. We also added additional countertop space along the outer wall, more cabinetry, a drop-in work-station sink, a dishwasher, new flooring, ambient lighting, and task lighting.

Project -2 Water Damage Be Gone
This kitchen and living space underwent a major face lift. We removed all the old cabinets, rearranged the orientation of appliances to have better flow and better foot traffic, installed more continuous countertop space. We also installed new floors recessed lighting, and a new backsplash. In the living room, we removed the damaged ceiling and then reconstructed the ceiling and rewired it for recessed lighting. We also installed another cabinet and countertop in-between the living and kitchen space.

Project -3 Retired Bathroom turned Retreat
This outdated bathroom underwent a beautiful makeover. With design collaboration with the amazing homeowners, we produced a stunning, modern, luxurious, wooded escape. We removed the wall partition between the built in jacuzzi that was leaking and the shower that was leaking. We installed all new floor and wall tile with a seamless, hidden drainage system, custom shower glass, free standing bathtub, floating double vanity, LED mirror, and a couple other new fixtures.

Project -4 Retro Bathroom Reinspired
We converted this bathroom into a cool, Italian getaway. Removed and reinstalled the shower tile, toilet, vanity, and flooring. We also installed wall paper and changed the light fixture.

Project -5 Mini Mold Remediation and Rebuild
An old, repaired toilet leak left this client with some mold and a hole in their ceiling. We covered the contents of the space then removed the affected porous material. We wiped the studs with spore-based cleaner and applied an antimicrobial solution. Once that had dried, we replace the drywall, patched and sanded it, then painted the ceiling. We also color matched the wall and cleaned up the edge of some previous work.

Project -6 Major Water Damage Mitigation and Renovation
This client’s pipe burst left them needing 3 floors of restorations. After tearing out the wet materials down to the studs, we built back this home and made it brand new. The floors received vinyl planks, carpet and tile. The kitchen received semi-custom cabinetry, quartz countertops and new appliances – plus a window adjustment to allow for the new peninsula placement (outside the old perimeter).

“I would be remiss to not share about our positive experience working with alex and his team at mila’s restoration and remodeling.
Imagine walking into your basement and seeing water steadily sweeping through your entire floor. For first-time buyers, who had not even lived in our home for a full year, we were in shock and panic as we tried to salvage personal items and deliberate who to trust to deal with the impending repairs.
We were lucky to find Alex who led both the mitigation and repair efforts with his team from September – October 2022. From the start, their professionalism, responsiveness and organization put me at ease. Alex gave us a thorough quote, patiently answered all our questions via email and phone, and guided us on how to engage with our insurance company. He was also willing to be budget-conscious and flexible as we began the repair process without compromising on the required needs. Through it all, he was communicative and considerate, giving us regular updates on progress and transparent why things could be taking longer (i.e supply shortages or when we wanted to make some cosmetic upgrades to our basement). Project -7 Condo Kitchen Remodel
We maximized the utility of this kitchen while staying in the original footprint and upgraded the look with the backsplash and hardware to make the space more enjoyable for the client and to help them with resale value. We removed the outdated cabinets and soffits, which allowed us to gain an extra foot of cabinet space on top. Upgrading the track lighting to 4 recessed lights highlighted the height of the cabinetry and opened up the space, making it feel larger.

Project -8 Townhome Water Damage Restoration turned Bathroom Remodel
Water damage sometimes requires us to open up walls in order to full dry out a space, which then becomes a great time to remodel. Because we offer both mitigation and reconstruction services, we framed in a niche and installed all new tile, bathtub, shower panel, faucets, light fixture, toilet, fan, vanity and hardware once we reached our dry goal. With a fresh coat of paint to top it all off, it is not unrecognizable.

Project -9 Mini Kitchen Mold Remediation
While the rest of this client’s kitchen was in perfect condition, the area behind the fridge had seen better days. We moved the fridge so that we could tear out the flooring, wallpaper, drywall and insulation. Then the space was cleaned with antimicrobial solution and dried. We installed new hardwood to match the original and installed a cute, new yellow wallpaper before moving the fridge back.

Project -10 Mini Kitchen Mold Remediation
That unresolved, every-once-in-awhile pipe drip can turn into a larger issue, like this kitchen cabinet. We needed to remove the cabinet base, the original tile flooring underneath and the drywall behind in order to mitigate the mold growth due to a leaky pipe. After replacing and painting the drywall plus replacing the cabinet base with new melamine, this cabinet became safe and clean again.

Project -11 Double Trouble Bathroom Renovation
We reworked the existing features to give a modern look to these bathrooms. By matching the tiles in both bathrooms we created cohesion for the overall style of the home, but each space was given its own personality through the vanities and wall colors. We also updated the plumbing, corrected the electrical, resized the window and added shower niches.

Project -12 Condo Water Damage Restoration
Water will always travel from wet to dry, so in order to fully restore this client’s home we needed to remove a portion of the ceiling, wall and full hardwood flooring after a pipe burst. Because we offer both mitigation and reconstruction services, we reinstalled and painted the walls of the bedroom to return it to its original color and condition. Then, we installed new hardwoods but used the original stain color to complete this project.

Sum-pump backups can be really devasting, so we work as efficiently as possible to get your home cleaned up. In order to clean up this water damage that was starting to show signs of mold, we removed the drywall, insulation and doors. We cleaned the space thoroughly and dried it out, then reinstalled we were able to reinstall insulation and drywall, plus so lovely new doors. In cases like these, we highly recommend getting your insurance involved, and we’ll help provide any documentation necessary if that’s the course of action you take.

Project -15 Powder Room Renovation
Bathrooms don’t always need a complicated change to have a complete transformation! For this client, we simply installed a new vanity and light fixture, then painted the walls a complementary color, and look at that difference! We also installed a new fan to replace the old, ineffective one – we recommend a CFM of 100 for a room this size since it’s frequently used. We also made sure to connect the exhaust so that it was actually moving air out.

Our field supervisor is certified in mold remediation and worked with the client’s insurance company to make sure the project was covered. When a basement has this much water after a long week of rain, there are slightly more complicated techniques used to dry the space out. Both the mitigation and repair change, and we know it can be hard to handle situations like these all at once. This client chose to dryout the space before deciding when the repairs would take place. We removed the excess water, removed the carpet and pad, then removed the bottom 2’ of drywall that absorbed plenty of moisture in order to get down to our dry goal.

Project -19 Double Bathroom Renovation
We worked with our client to remodel these bathrooms after looking at what each space could offer. Creating a walk-in, open shower to match the free-standing bathtub made the primary bath feel like a personal spa. We wanted the second shower to feel large as well, so we installed perpendicular glass panels. We installed tile unique to each space’s profile. We also updated the plumbing and added shower niches.
